An exhibition revealing tradition as a living structure within present artistic discourse

05 MARCH 2026 - 11 FEBRUARY 2026

Across Asia, the past does not sit behind us, It lives in gestures, symbols, materials, and the quiet philosophies that shape how one sees the world today.

In this exhibition, tradition becomes an active force that artists reinterpret, subvert, and reimagine. Echoes of Memories brings together Asian and Russian artists whose practices reveal how inherited forms and collective memory evolve into the contemporary languages of today.

From Malaysian ball pen calligraphy to the re-thinking of the Korean tradition known as takbon (탁본) to the hyper-aesthetic culture of POPOVY SISTERS, the works in this exhibition traverse mediums but share a common thread: each artist enters into a dialogue with history. It is a testament to how tradition, when reimagined, does not restrain innovation but instead expands it offering a language that is simultaneously timeless and urgently of our moment.
