Art Pop-Ups
We build temporary exhibitions inside busy public venues, bringing the gallery's programme to new audiences.
Our most recent pop-up was a one-day exhibition inside a private house by award-winning architect Nikolay Belousov. Before that we ran ART EXPERT at DEPO in Moscow, placing contemporary art in front of hundreds of daily visitors. The curation and presentation are held to the same standard as the gallery's own exhibitions. For venues and brands, a pop-up is a direct way to put contemporary art in front of your audience.

A one-day exhibition in a house by award-winning architect Nikolay Belousov
ROBINEAU was selected to conceive and curate a private exhibition presented for one day only within a house designed by award-winning architect Nikolay Belousov.
Responding to the house's unique relationship with natural light, the exhibition brought together 11 contemporary artists, with works positioned throughout its spaces in dialogue with the architecture and the changing conditions of the day. Participating artists included James Jean, Jordy Kerwick, Zhou Song, Kebeyo Chen, Okokume, Nina Sechko, Vowa Mank, Natalia Butko, Viktor Ponomarenko, Anton Chumak and Evgeniya Dudnikova.
The programme extended beyond the exhibition itself, combining a cruise, lunch and an introductory yoga session, each reflecting, in a different way, the elements of Air + Sun + Water.
Accessible by invitation only, the experience unfolded throughout the day, allowing the architecture, artworks and programme to be encountered under continually changing conditions of natural light.
Completed in 2024, the house was constructed from hand-cut northern Russian winter-felled timber using traditional carpentry techniques, including the Norwegian lock and dovetail joint. Set within approximately 2,800 m² of landscaped grounds, the architecture extends into a landscape of terraces, lawn and water, conceived by Yulia Kisileva.
Projects such as this extend ROBINEAU's curatorial practice beyond the conventional gallery setting, creating more personal and context-specific encounters with contemporary art. It is this ability to bring art into unexpected environments and to build an experience around the particular character of a place that distinguishes ROBINEAU.
ART EXPERT - POP UP
RA Education, the educational division of the ROBINEAU Group, unveiled “ART EXPERT: The Pop-Up Lab”, a hands-on experience designed to help art lovers of all ages understand the fundamentals of art expertise, authenticity, and informed collecting.
Featuring.. Mont Claire by Pop Mart, Yayoi Kusama, Javier Calleja, Hajime Sorayama, Keiichi Tanaami, Ready Made by Medicom, Nina Sechko merchandising.
Set within an imaginative landscape built from wooden Art crates, the ART EXPERT Pop-Up transformed the traditional experience into a playful learning environment. Upon arrival, guests were invited to wear a white coat stamped ART EXPERT across the back , a symbolic outfit marking their initiation into the world of professional art knowledge.
Guided by RA Education mentors, participants are taken on a journey through the key principles of art authentication and acquisition. From understanding the evolution of certificates of authenticity to exploring new technologies like RFID chips and holographic seals, the experience sheds light on how expertise protects collectors and supports the integrity of artists. Visitors will even have the opportunity to analyse an imitation artwork, learning firsthand how careful observation and documentation can safeguard value and trust in the art market.
